I’ve tried so many diets but nothing ever works!
Firstly, pretty much all diets work if they are adhered to as they are basically just different ways of reducing the calories you consume, creating a deficit and therefore fat or weight loss (2 very different things but that’s for another blog!). Your problem is you just haven’t found the one that works for you!
New clients will often say to me “I’ve got X pounds or stones to lose” or “I want to weigh X amount”. Instead of focussing on how you’re going to do that the first thing we need to do is look at why you’re X amount overweight in the first place! Then we need to find a diet plan that will work for you to not just lose the excess fat but maintain a healthy body composition forever! The diet that is right for you is the one you can see yourself still following years from without too much stress or sacrifice.

Stop looking at a diet as a quick fix to lose a few pounds that you will ultimately end up putting back on in a vicious cycle of self loathing, sacrifice and misery. Start looking at it as a lifelong strategy to optimise health, minimise disease and look and feel your best!
